Once a post office relay, now a cosy hotel in Bayeux, the Lion d'Or has never lost its original vocation. That's why the Table du Lion d'Or has been added to this pleasant 4-star hotel in the heart of Old Bayeux.

But chef Thomas Busnoult goes further. He proposes, while respecting his convictions, a fusion cuisine. Curious and well-traveled, he likes to combine his Norman cuisine, of which he is so proud, with touches from other continents. And it is in particular towards Asia that the chef has turned.

And finally, a pleasurable meal, one where one comes to share a quality plate with friends or as a couple, can only be done in an elegant setting. And the restaurant room, like the hotel, does not lack personality. We also like the outdoor terrace where you can soak up the Normandy sun in a very pleasant green setting.

This is the hotel's restaurant, which is primarily open to local guests. The cuisine is regional, fresh and favors short circuits and therefore seasonality. Normandy offers, between sea and countryside, something to delight all palates, even the most demanding.

A beautiful cuisine would be nothing without several elements outside the plate. The first of them is more precisely in the glass. And the wine list, particularly rich, allows to play with both classic and original combinations. La Table du Lion d'Or is both a gustatory stroll through the Normandy region and a discovery of the most beautiful vineyards in France. It's hard to resist.
